The Virtual Classroom lets you work and interact with your teacher online.

If your teacher has created a Virtual Classroom (VC) for you, you can join it in two steps. Go to your user menu and click on "Edit my Information", or simply click here if you are a student and you are now logged in.

1- KEY To enter your teacher's VC you must know your teacher's VC key. When he or she gives you his/her personal key, simply write that key into the Key box here and then press the button "Validate Key" at the bottom of the VC box. If the key is correct, your teacher's name will appear in your VC box.

2- GROUP When you validate your key, in this box you will see the list of your teacher's groups. Choose your group.

And that's it! you are in!

HOW TO USE YOUR VC

Now, on your user's menu you will have access to all the features of your teacher's Virtual Classroom. These features are:

CHECK MY TIME LOG By clicking here you can access your user's historial. All the video pages or activities you have visited in the past will be recorded here, including how long you worked with them. The titles will be clickable so you can also use your time log to revise pages you already visited.

GO TO MY CLASS ASSIGNMENTS Here you can open a list with all the videos and activities your teacher has chosen for your group. Every item may have instructions from your teacher, so you know what you must do with it.

CONTACT MY TEACHER By clicking here you can send a message to your teacher. It is like an internal e-mail but no e-mail address will be used, it is all confidential for both parts.

CONTACT A CLASSMATE You can send a message to one of your classmates without having to use your e-mail address. The message will simply go from account to account inside M-E.

OPEN MY TEACHER'S LINKS If your teacher wants to set some external links for you, it will appear here in your VC box.

READ MY TEACHER'S NOTICEBOARD On top of your user's menu or in the Virtual Classroom window you will have a noticeboard where your teacher can leave a message for all the class to see.

SHARED FOLDER If your teacher has created a shared folder you will see the link here. Click on the link to open the shared folder. Inside this folder you can find any document or file that your teacher puts there for you. Depending on your teacher's settings, you will be able to edit those documents or simply see them. You can also download them onto your computer.

CHAT WITH YOUR CLASSMATES There is a class chat room where you can practise your English and share information or simply have some fun with your classmates.

HOW TO LEAVE A VC

If you don't want to be part of your teacher's VC anymore, simply delete your VC key. Go to your user's menu, go to "Edit my personal data" and delete the key from the VC box. To eliminate the key press the red X button next to it.

If you didn't eliminate the key but the VC disappears from your menu, the reason must be that your teacher eliminated his VC or that your teacher blocked you out.
