Explanations

Remember= /rɪmembə/ This pronunciation (dropping the /r/ when not followed by a vowel) is standard British English or, as here, black American English (he simply imitates the pronunciation of the original song and, also, because in pop music it is now fashionable for American singers to drop the R)

AIN'T= (coll.) The negative form of the verb "to be" or the verb "have"
- I ain't got no money = I haven't got any money
- You ain't my brother = You're not my brother
- You ain't seen the best of me = You haven't seen the best of me

YOU AIN'T SEEN THE BEST OF ME= You haven't seen how good I can be, you don't know my possibilities.

THE REST= All the other people.

 I GOT MORE IN ME AND YOU CAN SET IT FREE= I have more possibilities and you can liberate them, make them possible (read the song meaning tab to understand).

CATCH= You take something which is still (not moving): a book, an apple, a pen. You catch something wich is moving: a mosquito, a tennis ball, a running dog.

GONNA= (coll.) Going to.

CRY= This word has two meanings: 1- weep (shed tears from your eyes) 2- shout (especially when you shout a word or sentence out). The meaning here is number two, the singer is telling you to cry the word "Fame" out.

MAKE IT TO HEAVEN= Go to heaven.
If you make it to a place, you go there (also  possibly combined a bit with the idea of "manage to", succeed in getting there, as when it is not easy to go).

LIGHT UP= Illuminate a place brightly.

FLAME= A wisp of fire.

Meaning

The original song was the theme song for a TV series, "Fame", where gifted students were accepted into a prestigious art school where they improved their music, dancing or singing skills. The singer says that she (yea, it was a she) is gifted, she has talent

You ain't seen the best of me yet
Give me time I'll make you forget the rest

But she needs help to improve and get to be as good as she can possibly be

I got more in me
And you can set it free

But most of all, the message of this song is: I'm going to be very famous so...

Remember my name!
