This is the story of a boy who has lived in fear for too many years, and now he gets up and says ENOUGH! This is the day when he is going to face his nightmare and get a life again.
Hello. My name is Nick. But you probably know me as Misterepicmann. Or Shirley. But that's a story for another time. I joined YouTube back in 2009 with no real expectations other than to be myself on camera. Right now I am pursuing a degree in cinematic arts at college and I certainly hope to use that knowledge to make movies one day (Spitting water at my roommate and riding a broom around the room doesn't count...lolz). I currently own a company called Lost Light Films which is my primary focus after school and I hope I can merge my efforts into that company once school is completed...if I actually pass.
Hi, my name is Johnny. I live my life in fear. Today marks day 943 since I've been outside. I had a dream about him again last night. It's the same as all the other ones. He just keeps chasing, and chasing and chasing, and then he just...
Ha ha ha ha
So anyway, like I was saying, this guy from my dreams, he's my next-door neighbour. Back when I was younger, I could never go outside. Any time I went to do anything, he would just chase me.
When I got the mail, when I mowed the lawn, when I took out the trash... I just couldn't escape. He was everywhere.
No longer will I live in fear. Today is the day I've chosen to go back outside.
Stop, stop! Can't we just settle this?
This is it. This is where my life ends. I was wrong. I was so wrong. Good-bye cruel world!
Ha ha ha ha ha

Oh, I'm so tired from laughing. I'm so tired from laughing. Somebody give me water. Give me water. Somebody give me water, I'm tired from laughing. Yeah, I'm tired from laughing.
Yo! I'm I'm tired from laughing. Give me water.
IN FEAR= Afraid.
CHASING= To chase something is to run after it in order to get it. Lions chase gazelles, dogs chase cats, etc.
ANYWAY= We can say this when we want to chage the conversation in some way. In this case, he was interrupting by his father laughing, so he wants to change that part and go back to his story.
GUY= (coll. esp. AmE) Man, boy.
NEXT-DOOR NEIGHBOUR= The neighbour living next door (AmE spelling: neighbor).
BACK WHEN= We use BACK when we want to refer to a time in the past:
- Travelling in Shakespeare's time was difficult. Back then, there were no cars.
- Back at school I was very happy, but now I'm always worried about my job, my children...
- I'd like to live back in the times of The Beatles.
- Back in Jesus' times, Romans dominated all the known world around the Mediterranean sea.
MOWED THE LAWN= The lawn is the neat grass you put in your garden, and to mow the lawn is to cut the grass to make it look even and nice. To do that we usually use a machine called a lawn-mower
TRASH (AmE)= Rubbish (BrE), waste.
NO LONGER WILL I LIVE= After some adverbial expressions such as "no longer" or "not only", we make an inversion if that expression begins the sentence:
- Not only is he nice, but also a very good friend (inversion)
- He is not only nice, but also a very good friend (no inversion)
SETTLE= To settle a problem or a dispute is to stop it through some kind of agreement or solution.
THIS IS IT= It's finished, this is the end.
GOOD-BYE CRUEL WORLD= A dramatic expression typically used by those who are about to commit suicide because they think life is too hard for them. Also used in a humorous way, like here.
SOMEBODY GIVE ME= This is the most common imperative form for the third person singular, although a more grammatically correct form would be "let somebody give me water".
- Somebody help me, please!!
When we don't use SOMEBODY we do need to use LET:
- Let your brother help me, please.
YO!= (coll. AmE) A very colloquial exclamation used to call someone's attention (like "excuse me") or also used as a greeting (like "hi!")
