Another hit by Coldplay
Because you're a sky
Because you're a sky full of stars
I'm going to give you my heart
Because you're a sky
Because you're a sky full of stars
Because you light up the path
I don't care
Go on and tear me apart
I don't care if you do
Because in a sky
Because in a sky full of stars
I think I saw you
Because you're a sky
Because you're a sky full of stars
I want to die in your arms
Because you get lighter the more it gets dark
I'm going to give you my heart
I don't care
Go on and tear me apart
I don't care if you do
Because in a sky
Because in a sky full of stars
I think I see you, I think I see you
Because you're a sky
You're a sky full of stars
Such a heavenly view
You're such a heavenly view
I think the song is about a person whom loves another with all his heart but the feeling is no longer mutual. She wants to move on with her life but all he can think of is her. The thought of this kills him from the inside but at the same time his love for her is too strong, so it doesn't matter as she will always be his bright spot.
This song has two meanings... A part of this song is about his fans, who light up wherever he performs, at a night concert, stadium, park, etc-- and he is okay that we tear him apart, because he knows its out of love, and therefore he also gives us his heart, through his lyrics, music, and presence. The other meaning in the song is about that one very special light, special star amongst all the stars/fans-- whom he feels so blessed even to know she is out there, he sees her, he feels her, he loves her-- but there is some kind of distance and sadness and loss there too-- but its a beautiful song, with multiple meanings
