Hi there. Welcome to USA Native English. Today I wanna talk to you about how to ask for the things that you might need when you're staying in a hotel or resort where they speak English only. This happens all the time. You may be travelling to Canada or Ireland or Australia or the United States, or perhaps you're visiting a country where they don't speak your language, you don't speak their language but you both speak some English. So when you contact the concierge or room service to ask them for the things you need, you're going to ask for these items in English. Let's look at some of the most important items you might need at a hotel, and we'll talk about how to ask for these items correctly:

Blanket.
May I please have an extra blanket?

Pillow.
May I please have an extra pillow?

Hand towel.
May I please have an extra hand towels?

Washcloth or Facecloth.
May I please have an extra washcloths/facecloths?

Bath towel.
May I please have an extra bath towels?

Soap.
May I please have an extra soap?

Shampoo.
May I please have some shampoo?

Toothbrush.
May I please have a toothbrush?

Toothpaste.
May I please have some toothpaste?

Razor.
May I please have a razor?
