Jesus is arrested thanks to his friend Judas' betrayal. He's taken to the High Priest Caiaphas, who sends him to Pilate, the Roman prefect, in the hope that the Romans will sentence him to death (Jews can't). This fragment shows the first meeting between Jesus and Pilate.
