Major Lazer is an electronic music project created by American DJ and record producer Diplo initially collaborating with English DJ and producer Switch. The two parted ways in late 2011.

Their music spans numerous genres, usually fusing reggae and dancehall music with dance genres such as moombahton and electro house.

"Lean On", is a collaboration with French producer DJ Snake and features vocals from Danish recording artist MØ.The single received universally positive reviews and reached the top-ten in nineteen international charts, including number one in Australia and number four in the UK. Moreover, the track peaked at number two on Spotify's global streaming chart, garnering over 2 million daily plays. The song is Major Lazer's highest peaking song in the US, peaking at number 36 so far, as well as their first top 40 hit. It is their most successful single to date.
