Bonfire Heart is the first single from British singer-songwriter James Blunt's fourth studio album, Moon Landing. The song has been written by Blunt, in collaboration with OneRepublic's lead singer Ryan Tedder, with whom Blunt has previously worked for the single "Stay the Night".
The song debuted at number six and climbed to number four in the UK Singles Chart, his highest charting hit in several years, partially thanks to a decent amount of airplay including on national station BBC Radio 2.

Your mouth is a revolver And I've been looking at the stars Everybody wants a flame loyal till you die But they don't want to get burnt Your love is like a soldier, And today is our turn I've been putting out fires all my life For a long, long time firing bullets in the sky |

We don't need that much just someone that starts Nights like this lead to Days like these lead to People like us Starts the spark in our bonfire hearts You light the spark in my bonfire heart Love like ours |

This world is getting colder, But I've been looking at you No one offers you a shoulder strangers passing by No one looks you in the eye for a long, long time |
