Bonfire Heart is the first single from British singer-songwriter James Blunt's fourth studio album, Moon Landing. The song has been written by Blunt, in collaboration with OneRepublic's lead singer Ryan Tedder, with whom Blunt has previously worked for the single "Stay the Night".
The song debuted at number six and climbed to number four in the UK Singles Chart, his highest charting hit in several years, partially thanks to a decent amount of airplay including on national station BBC Radio 2.

Your love is like a soldier, Everybody wants a flame And today is our turn And I've been looking at the stars firing bullets in the sky For a long, long time But they don't want to get burnt loyal till you die Your mouth is a revolver I've been putting out fires all my life |
We don't need that much just someone that starts People like us Starts the spark in our bonfire hearts Nights like this lead to Days like these lead to Love like ours You light the spark in my bonfire heart |
No one offers you a shoulder for a long, long time This world is getting colder, strangers passing by But I've been looking at you No one looks you in the eye |
Well, today is our turn Everybody wants a flame They don't want to get burnt Trying to make you mine Just trying to break through |
