Bonfire Heart is the first single from British singer-songwriter James Blunt's fourth studio album, Moon Landing. The song has been written by Blunt, in collaboration with OneRepublic's lead singer Ryan Tedder, with whom Blunt has previously worked for the single "Stay the Night".
The song debuted at number six and climbed to number four in the UK Singles Chart, his highest charting hit in several years, partially thanks to a decent amount of airplay including on national station BBC Radio 2.

Your love is like a soldier, But they don't want to get burnt And I've been looking at the stars loyal till you die firing bullets in the sky Your mouth is a revolver And today is our turn Everybody wants a flame I've been putting out fires all my life For a long, long time |
|
Starts the spark in our bonfire hearts You light the spark in my bonfire heart People like us Days like these lead to Love like ours Nights like this lead to We don't need that much just someone that starts |
|
But I've been looking at you No one offers you a shoulder for a long, long time No one looks you in the eye This world is getting colder, strangers passing by |
