Bonfire Heart is the first single from British singer-songwriter James Blunt's fourth studio album, Moon Landing. The song has been written by Blunt, in collaboration with OneRepublic's lead singer Ryan Tedder, with whom Blunt has previously worked for the single "Stay the Night".
The song debuted at number six and climbed to number four in the UK Singles Chart, his highest charting hit in several years, partially thanks to a decent amount of airplay including on national station BBC Radio 2.

I've been putting out fires all my life firing bullets in the sky Your love is like a soldier, Your mouth is a revolver loyal till you die And I've been looking at the stars But they don't want to get burnt For a long, long time Everybody wants a flame And today is our turn |

Starts the spark in our bonfire hearts You light the spark in my bonfire heart Days like these lead to Love like ours Nights like this lead to People like us We don't need that much just someone that starts |

No one offers you a shoulder for a long, long time No one looks you in the eye This world is getting colder, strangers passing by But I've been looking at you |
