Bonfire Heart is the first single from British singer-songwriter James Blunt's fourth studio album, Moon Landing. The song has been written by Blunt, in collaboration with OneRepublic's lead singer Ryan Tedder, with whom Blunt has previously worked for the single "Stay the Night".
The song debuted at number six and climbed to number four in the UK Singles Chart, his highest charting hit in several years, partially thanks to a decent amount of airplay including on national station BBC Radio 2.

But they don't want to get burnt Your mouth is a revolver I've been putting out fires all my life loyal till you die firing bullets in the sky And I've been looking at the stars And today is our turn Everybody wants a flame Your love is like a soldier, For a long, long time |
|
We don't need that much just someone that starts Love like ours You light the spark in my bonfire heart People like us Days like these lead to Starts the spark in our bonfire hearts Nights like this lead to |
|

Well, today is our turn Everybody wants a flame They don't want to get burnt Just trying to break through Trying to make you mine |
