Bonfire Heart is the first single from British singer-songwriter James Blunt's fourth studio album, Moon Landing. The song has been written by Blunt, in collaboration with OneRepublic's lead singer Ryan Tedder, with whom Blunt has previously worked for the single "Stay the Night".
The song debuted at number six and climbed to number four in the UK Singles Chart, his highest charting hit in several years, partially thanks to a decent amount of airplay including on national station BBC Radio 2.

Everybody wants a flame For a long, long time And today is our turn Your mouth is a revolver And I've been looking at the stars loyal till you die Your love is like a soldier, But they don't want to get burnt firing bullets in the sky I've been putting out fires all my life |
|
Nights like this lead to Days like these lead to You light the spark in my bonfire heart People like us Love like ours We don't need that much just someone that starts Starts the spark in our bonfire hearts |
|
No one offers you a shoulder No one looks you in the eye strangers passing by for a long, long time This world is getting colder, But I've been looking at you |

Trying to make you mine They don't want to get burnt Everybody wants a flame Well, today is our turn Just trying to break through |
