We'd fight, we'd fight till I would give in Days when We were reaching, reaching for the rafters Yeah, perfect disasters |
That we were raised, yeah To get up and get out of the town Because we were done And on most of the days we were searching for ways |
We were burning cigars We were searching for Oz I remember, we were sleeping in cars With white plastics tips till we saw the sun |
And we said crazy things like... I refuse to look back thinking days were better Just because they're younger days I swear we'll never change I don't know what's around the corner Way I feel right now |
You and me were kids Back when we were kids Swear that we'll never die Swore we would never die |
Yeah, perfect disasters Lights down And we drive and we're driving just to get out Yeah, we were swinging, swinging from the rafters |
Hey, we were dancing in cars We were looking for ours We were naming the stars After people we knew Till we had to go |
Just because they're younger days I refuse to look back thinking days were better I swear we'll never change And we were saying things like... Way I feel right now I don't know what's around the corner |

Swore we would never die Swear that we'll never die You and me were kids Back when we were kids |
Feel the years start burning And making every day a holiday Something about this feels the same City lights they're turning Changing all our plans Nights when we kept dancing |
