We were reaching, reaching for the rafters Days when Yeah, perfect disasters We'd fight, we'd fight till I would give in |

Because we were done And on most of the days we were searching for ways That we were raised, yeah To get up and get out of the town |
|

I remember, we were sleeping in cars We were burning cigars With white plastics tips till we saw the sun We were searching for Oz |

Just because they're younger days Way I feel right now I refuse to look back thinking days were better I swear we'll never change I don't know what's around the corner And we said crazy things like... |

|
Swore we would never die Swear that we'll never die You and me were kids Back when we were kids |
|

|
Lights down Yeah, we were swinging, swinging from the rafters Yeah, perfect disasters And we drive and we're driving just to get out |

After people we knew Hey, we were dancing in cars We were naming the stars Till we had to go We were looking for ours |

I refuse to look back thinking days were better And we were saying things like... I swear we'll never change Just because they're younger days I don't know what's around the corner Way I feel right now |

Swear that we'll never die Back when we were kids You and me were kids Swore we would never die |

Something about this feels the same And making every day a holiday Nights when we kept dancing Feel the years start burning City lights they're turning Changing all our plans |
