Yeah, perfect disasters We were reaching, reaching for the rafters We'd fight, we'd fight till I would give in Days when |
And on most of the days we were searching for ways Because we were done To get up and get out of the town That we were raised, yeah |
With white plastics tips till we saw the sun We were searching for Oz We were burning cigars I remember, we were sleeping in cars |
And we said crazy things like... Just because they're younger days I don't know what's around the corner Way I feel right now I swear we'll never change I refuse to look back thinking days were better |
Back when we were kids Swore we would never die Swear that we'll never die You and me were kids |
Lights down And we drive and we're driving just to get out Yeah, perfect disasters Yeah, we were swinging, swinging from the rafters |
Till we had to go Hey, we were dancing in cars We were naming the stars After people we knew We were looking for ours |
I don't know what's around the corner I refuse to look back thinking days were better I swear we'll never change Way I feel right now Just because they're younger days And we were saying things like... |
You and me were kids Swore we would never die Swear that we'll never die Back when we were kids |
Feel the years start burning And making every day a holiday City lights they're turning Changing all our plans Nights when we kept dancing Something about this feels the same |
Back when we were kids Swore we would never die Swear that we'll never die You and me were kids |

Way I feel right now I don't know what's around the corner You and me were kids Just because they're younger days You and me were kids I refuse to look back thinking days were better I swear we'll never change |
