We were reaching, reaching for the rafters Days when Yeah, perfect disasters We'd fight, we'd fight till I would give in |
And on most of the days we were searching for ways To get up and get out of the town Because we were done That we were raised, yeah |
With white plastics tips till we saw the sun We were burning cigars I remember, we were sleeping in cars We were searching for Oz |
And we said crazy things like... I don't know what's around the corner Way I feel right now Just because they're younger days I swear we'll never change I refuse to look back thinking days were better |
You and me were kids Swear that we'll never die Back when we were kids Swore we would never die |
Yeah, we were swinging, swinging from the rafters And we drive and we're driving just to get out Yeah, perfect disasters Lights down |
We were looking for ours After people we knew Hey, we were dancing in cars We were naming the stars Till we had to go |
Just because they're younger days And we were saying things like... Way I feel right now I don't know what's around the corner I refuse to look back thinking days were better I swear we'll never change |

You and me were kids Back when we were kids Swore we would never die Swear that we'll never die |

City lights they're turning Something about this feels the same Changing all our plans Nights when we kept dancing And making every day a holiday Feel the years start burning |
