Days when Yeah, perfect disasters We were reaching, reaching for the rafters We'd fight, we'd fight till I would give in |
And on most of the days we were searching for ways That we were raised, yeah Because we were done To get up and get out of the town |
We were searching for Oz With white plastics tips till we saw the sun I remember, we were sleeping in cars We were burning cigars |
Just because they're younger days I swear we'll never change And we said crazy things like... I don't know what's around the corner I refuse to look back thinking days were better Way I feel right now |
Swear that we'll never die Back when we were kids Swore we would never die You and me were kids |
Yeah, perfect disasters Yeah, we were swinging, swinging from the rafters And we drive and we're driving just to get out Lights down |
We were naming the stars We were looking for ours Till we had to go After people we knew Hey, we were dancing in cars |
And we were saying things like... I refuse to look back thinking days were better Way I feel right now I don't know what's around the corner I swear we'll never change Just because they're younger days |

Back when we were kids Swore we would never die Swear that we'll never die You and me were kids |
And making every day a holiday City lights they're turning Changing all our plans Something about this feels the same Feel the years start burning Nights when we kept dancing |

Back when we were kids Swear that we'll never die Swore we would never die You and me were kids |
