Yeah, perfect disasters Days when We'd fight, we'd fight till I would give in We were reaching, reaching for the rafters |
That we were raised, yeah And on most of the days we were searching for ways To get up and get out of the town Because we were done |
I remember, we were sleeping in cars We were searching for Oz With white plastics tips till we saw the sun We were burning cigars |
I refuse to look back thinking days were better Just because they're younger days I swear we'll never change And we said crazy things like... Way I feel right now I don't know what's around the corner |
Swear that we'll never die Back when we were kids Swore we would never die You and me were kids |
Yeah, we were swinging, swinging from the rafters Lights down Yeah, perfect disasters And we drive and we're driving just to get out |

We were naming the stars After people we knew Hey, we were dancing in cars We were looking for ours Till we had to go |

I swear we'll never change And we were saying things like... Just because they're younger days I refuse to look back thinking days were better I don't know what's around the corner Way I feel right now |

Swore we would never die Swear that we'll never die Back when we were kids You and me were kids |

And making every day a holiday Something about this feels the same City lights they're turning Feel the years start burning Changing all our plans Nights when we kept dancing |
