Days when We'd fight, we'd fight till I would give in We were reaching, reaching for the rafters Yeah, perfect disasters |
That we were raised, yeah And on most of the days we were searching for ways To get up and get out of the town Because we were done |
I remember, we were sleeping in cars We were burning cigars With white plastics tips till we saw the sun We were searching for Oz |
And we said crazy things like... Just because they're younger days I don't know what's around the corner I swear we'll never change I refuse to look back thinking days were better Way I feel right now |
Back when we were kids Swore we would never die Swear that we'll never die You and me were kids |
Yeah, perfect disasters Yeah, we were swinging, swinging from the rafters Lights down And we drive and we're driving just to get out |
Hey, we were dancing in cars We were naming the stars We were looking for ours Till we had to go After people we knew |
Just because they're younger days Way I feel right now And we were saying things like... I don't know what's around the corner I refuse to look back thinking days were better I swear we'll never change |
Swore we would never die You and me were kids Back when we were kids Swear that we'll never die |
And making every day a holiday Changing all our plans Something about this feels the same Nights when we kept dancing City lights they're turning Feel the years start burning |
Back when we were kids Swear that we'll never die Swore we would never die You and me were kids |
Way I feel right now You and me were kids Just because they're younger days I don't know what's around the corner I refuse to look back thinking days were better I swear we'll never change You and me were kids |
