info: Create a video page 2/3

SCRIPT TYPE --> Choose one of these options:

1- Subtitles = The video comes with the complete subtitles of the song, speech or dialogue of the video.
2- Script = You provide the literal transcription of the video language.
3- YTube-CC = The subtitles are not part of the video but come as an option in YouTube (or any other video host used). In that case users can choose to see or hide the subtitles by turning on or off the CC option in YouTube.
4- PartScript = This is a non exact or incomplete transcription of the video.
5- Title = You provide no transcription but the video comes with some subtitles that help you understand some parts.
6- Nothing = There is no transcription or subtitles to help people understand. In this case, your video may be rejected unless it is very interesting on its own..

Note: a video may come with more than one Script Type, for example it may come with embedded subtitles and also YouTube subtitles and you also add a text script. In that case, which option should you choose? Easy, when the list of options drops down, choose the first option to appear on the list, so in this particular case you would choose "Subtitles", which is option number 1 and so has preference over the other options (2 and 3).

TRANSCRIPT --> Paste or write the video transcription here. If you need to format the text, when you finish creating your video page go to your user menu, get into your video section and edit your video there. When you edit a video you can add format to your text boxes (changing the colour of a word, underlining, bolding, etc.)

SINGER / PERFORMER --> If it is a song, write the name of the singer or band here. For some other videos sometimes it is interesting to write the performer (especially if it is a famous person). You can also use this box to write other information when the video is part of a series of videos or a fragment of a TV series. This information will appear in brackets "( )" next to or below the title.

MEANING --> If you want, you can use this field to write your own interpretation of the song or the video content. Leave it blank if you have no idea.

You should fill in the first two boxes, the last two are optional. When you finish filling in this form you can click on the arrow button to move on to the next and last form.

You also have two icons opening two dictionaries, a monolingual one (English explanations) or a bilingual one (translations in many different languages)
