COMMANDS & REQUESTS

Commands (orders, instructions) and requests (please, do it) are expressed with the imperative form of the verb:

affirmative --> go! (you go)
negative --> don't go!  (you don't go)

imperative --> go / stand up / open your book
request (different forms) --> please, go / will you stand up? / can you open your book?
