Soundtrack from the film "Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves" (with Kevin Costner)

Look into my eyes - you will see
What you mean to me
Search your heart - search your soul
And when you find me there you'll search no more

Don't tell me it's not worth tryin' for
You can't tell me it's not worth dyin' for
You know it's true
Everything I do - I do it for you

Look into your heart - you will find
There's nothin' there to hide
Take me as I am - take my life
I would give it all - I would sacrifice

Don't tell me it's not worth fightin' for
I can't help it - there's nothin' I want more
Ya know it's true
Everything I do - I do it for you

There's no love - like your love
And no other - could give more love
There's nowhere - unless you're there
All the time - all the way, yeah

look into your heart, baby
oh yeah

Oh - you can't tell me it's not worth tryin' for
I can't help it - there's nothin' I want more
Yeah, I would fight for you - I'd lie for you
Walk the wire for you - yeah, I'd die for you

Ya know it's true
Everything I do - I do it for you

SEARCH= look for something in a place

HEART= /hɑ:*t/

SOUL= spirit

YOU’LL SEARCH NO MORE= you’ll stop looking for it

WORTH + -ING= if something is worth doing, it is pleasant, useful or good to do it.

TRYIN’ = trying. The ending –ING may be pronounced (and sometimes written in coll. English) -IN' to show that we’re not pronouncing the nasal consonant at the back of our throat, but with the tip of our tongue.

DYIN’= dying (-ing form of the verb TO DIE, because we can’t spell it "diing")

TAKE ME AS I AM= accept me the way I am

I CAN’T HELP IT= if you can’t help doing something, you can’t control it or stop it, so you have no option but doing it. (e.g. "I can’t help loving you"= I love you whether I like it or not, I have no option). CAN’T HELP is followed by a noun or an –ING verb form.

YA= you (coll. English, pronounced with a SCHWA)

WALK THE WIRE= to walk on a tense wire suspended high over the ground, an acrobat performance of balance where you risk your life. Often seen at the circus

Nothing to explain about the meaning, it’s all quite plain English. This is the greatest love song ever. The lyrics are just immense. Sadly, I think in real life it's hard to feel anything even close to what the song is portraying. Still, that is one helluva love we can all hope for.

(one helluva= one hell of a = a very very big number or amount)
