We use PRESENT SIMPLE tense to talk about general action, habitual action,general truth.

When we talk about singular NOUNS in the third person (he, she, it) we add the suffix -s or -es to the main verb. We add the suffix -es when the verb ends in: ch, sh, x, ss or vowel, and when the verb ends in consonant+y we change the y for i and then we add -es.

Examples:

I work in an office.
Sue and Max go to the supermarket every weekend.
Sue goes to the gym on Fridays.
You play soccer on Sunday morning.
