The Corrs is a family group (that's their surname) from Ireland mixing traditional Celtic music with pop and rock rhythms. This song, though, is more mainstream, doesn't sound Celtic at all.

They are the most successful Irish group in history, and this, one of their best hits.

Go on, go on
Leave me breathless
Come on
Hey, yeah

The daylight's fading slowly
But time with you is standing still
I'm waiting for you only
The slightest touch and I feel weak
I cannot lie, from you I cannot hide
And I'm losing the will to try
Can't hide it , can't fight it

So go on, go on, come on
Leave me breathless
Tempt me, tease me
Until I can't deny
This loving feeling
Make me long for your kiss
Go on, go on
Yeah
Come on
Yeah

And if there's no tomorrow
And all we have is here and now
I'm happy just to have you
You're all the love I need somehow
It's like a dream
Although I'm not asleep
And I never want to wake up
Don't lose it , don't leave it

So go on, go on, come on
Leave me breathless
Tempt me, tease me
Until I can't deny
This loving feeling
Make me long for your kiss
Go on, go on
Yeah
Come on

And I can't lie
From you I cannot hide
And I've lost my will to try
Can't hide it , can't fight it

So go on, go on, come on
Leave me breathless
Tempt me, tease me
Until I can't deny
This loving feeling
Make me long for your kiss

Go on, go on, come on
Leave me breathless
Go on, go on, come on
Leave me breathless
Go on, go on, come on
Leave me breathless
Go on, go on!

GO ON= Come on! Go ahead, do it.

BREATHLESS= Speechless, greatly impressed. Literally, breathless means “without breath”, so dead or breathing with great difficulty. If something positive really shocks you, you forget to breathe for some seconds, so if someone or something leaves you breathless it means that you’re so impressed you forgot to breathe.

THE DAYLIGHT’S FADING= It’s getting dark (so it’s twilight, dusk, after the sunset, right between day and night). To fade is to slowly disappear.

STANDING STILL= Stopped, not moving.

SLIGHT= Small, weak or unimportant. “Slightest” is the superlative form.

WEAK= Opposite of “strong”.

FROM YOU I CANNOT HIDE= “I can’t hide from you”. The order of the sentence is inverted here as a figure of speech called “hyperbaton”; it’s just to make it sound more poetical.

THE WILL= My volition, my ability to take my own decisions. "I'm losing the will to try" means "I don't want to try"

TEASE ME= Tempt me.

DENY= To say that something is not true.

TO LONG= To have a great desire for something. If you long for something you want it very very much.

SOMEHOW= In some unknown or mysterious way.
