The English-language version of 'El Perdón', by Enrique Iglesias, featuring American regaeton singer Nicky Jam released on 10 July 2015.

A melancholic song about lost love and regret. The track, which in its original Spanish-language version topped the Billboard Hot Latin Songs chart for 18th consecutive week, has been a smash especially throughout Latin America and also parts of Europe.

I know you moved on,
I heard you doing better without me,
Girl this is driving me crazy,
Can't you see what you doing to me?

She let go,
She killed me when she said it was over,
Now I'm in the middle of nowhere,
And got no space to breathe.

I'm missing you baby,
Up all night, going crazy,
Now my angel can't save me, oh no.

I'm missing you baby,
Up all night going crazy,
Drinking my pain away.

Girl, I'm not with you,
You're not with me,
And I don't like the way it feels,
ESTO NO ME GUSTA
ESTO NO ME GUSTA

Girl, I'm not with you,
You're not with me,
And I don't like the way this feels,
ESTO NO ME GUSTA
ESTO NO ME GUSTA

Can't take the pain,
Can't take the hurt,
I wish that I could turn back time and say I love you,
I'd do anything to make it work, Ohh

Cuz even through the times they try to hate on us,
The only thing that mattered to me was our love,
Never will I stop, I'll never get enough.

I'm missing you baby,
Up all night going crazy,
Now my Angel can't save me, oh no.

I'm missing you baby,
Up all night going crazy,
Drinking my pain away.

Girl, I'm not with you,
You're not with me,
And I don't like the way it feels,
ESTO NO ME GUSTA
ESTO NO ME GUSTA

Girl, I'm not with you,
You're not with me,
And I don't like the way this feels,
ESTO NO ME GUSTA
ESTO NO ME GUSTA

I know they say that you're moving on,
But I'm begging you please don't go,
No, I don't wanna let you go, Oh no

Yeah. You know that I want you back,
Baby. I love you to the max,
From here to the moon and back

Girl, I'm not with you,
You're not with me,
And I don't like the way this feels,
ESTO NO ME GUSTA
ESTO NO ME GUSTA

Girl, I'm not with you,
You're not with me,
And I don't like the way it feels,
ESTO NO ME GUSTA, oh yea, oh no

Nicky Jam,
Enrique Iglesias,
HACIENDO HISTORIA,
SAGA WHITEBLACK,
...Y TE PIDO PERDÓN

MOVED ON= If you move on after breaking a relationship, you stop feeling hurt and continue with your life without looking back.

LET GO= (past) Stopped holding. In this case it means more or less "she stopped loving me and forgot about me", which is similar to "moved on".

IT WAS OVER= It ended.

GOT= (AmE) I've got, I have.

UP ALL NIGHT= If you're up all night, you can't sleep. Literally it means to stay out of bed, but it can also be used even if you were in bed all night, trying to sleep but with no success.

MY ANGEL= This angel could be her, his lost love, but the context here makes it improbable. He must be referring to the Guardian Angel. For most Christians, the Guardian Angel is a personal protection, a specific angel sent by God to protect you, something like a spiritual bodyguard. In this case, the situation is so bad that not even the Guardian Angel can protect him from the pain.

DRINKING MY PAIN AWAY= Getting drunk to forget and stop feeling this pain.

ESTO NO ME GUSTA= (in Spanish) I don't like this.

CAN'T TAKE THE PAIN= This pain is too strong for me.

TURN BACK TIME= Go to the past and change it.

TO MAKE IT WORK= To make our relationship right, so we can be lovers and have no problems anymore.

CUZ= (slang, coll. spelling, AmE version) Because.

EVEN THOUGH= An emphatic form of "Although".

THE TIMES THEY TRY= In English it is possible sometimes to use a duplicated subject for emphasis, putting the noun and then the pronoun (e.g. "My father he is a great man"). Here we have "the times" and "they", where "they" refers to "the times".

NEVER WILL I STOP= (old fashioned or poetic) In old English inversion was used when the sentence starts with an adverb instead of the subject. That is not very common today but it still happens sometimes, so we can say I WILL NEVER STOP or NEVER WILL I STOP, which sounds more archaic and so, more beautiful.

I WANT YOU BACK= I want you to come back with me.

TO THE MAX= (coll.) To the maximum = As much as possible.

FROM HERE TO THE MOON AND BACK= A common expression to say that we love someone very very very much.

DICEN QUE UNO NO SA...= (in Spanish) They say you don't know what you have until you've lost it, but it's worth fighting for what you want and give it a try.

HACIENDO HISTORIA (in Spanish)= Making history = doing something so important that it will be remembered in the future and recorded in history books.

Y TE PIDO PERDÓN= (in Spanish) And I apologise, and I ask for your forgiveness.
