WHISPER= /'wɪspər/ Soft speech produced without using the full voice. Even regular people start whispering as they pass by. This means they can’t keep their relationship a secret for very long.

VULTURE= /'vʌltʃər/ A type of large bird of prey feeding chiefly on dead bodies. (Figurative) A person of a rapacious, predatory, or profiteering nature. Taylor Swift describes what happens when she dates someone. The papparazzi (“the vultures”) start follow them around like “dark clouds” over their heads.
FRAGILE= /'frædʒaɪl/ Easily broken, damaged, or destroyed; delicate.
BURN OUT= To undergo combustion or be consumed as fuel. He/She compares love to a “fragile little flame” because relationships are delicate and can easily die out (burn out), especially under a lot of pressure from others.

HUNTER= A person or animal that seeks out and kills or captures game; female equivalent 'huntress'. Taylor compares her relationship with the press to foxhunting. The papparazzi are the hunters, using their cameras like weapons, while she (and her boyfriends) are like foxes being hunted down, helpless preys who have to keep running from them.

CHASING THEIR TAILS= (Idiom) Chase (one's) tail; to exert oneself vigorously but ineffectually.
TRACK US DOWN= To pursue us until found or captured us.
FENCE= A structure serving as an enclosure, a barrier, or a boundary, usually made of posts or stakes joined together by boards, wire, or rails.
LOOSE LIPS SINK SHIPS ALL THE DAMN TIME= It's an American English idiom meaning "beware of unguarded talk".The phrase, originated on propaganda posters during World War, was created by the War Advertising Council. A reference to the famous WWII slogan meant to dissuade people from revealing war secrets that could put warships in danger. In this case, revealing secrets to the media can be dangerous to a relationship. But Taylor is determined to keep their “ship” safe.

BULLETPROOF= Resistant, impenetrable to bullets. The papparazzi shoot pictures rather than bullets, but still Taylor and her boyfriend are immune to it.
Swift goes on to detail her experience working with OneRepublic’s Ryan Tedder on the song “I Know Places.”
“I had this idea of like, you know, when you’re in love, it’s very precious, it’s fragile. As soon as the world gets ahold of it, whether it’s your friends or people around town hear about it … it’s kind of like the first thing people want to do when they hear that people are in love is just kind of try to ruin it, if they’re not the greatest human beings,” she says.
“I kind of was in a place where I was like, ‘No one is gonna sign up for this. There are just too many cameras pointed at me. There are too many ridiculous elaborations on my life. It’s just not ever gonna work," Swift admits. “But I decided to write a love song, just kind of like, ‘What would I say if I met someone really awesome and they were like, hey, I’m worried about all this attention you get?’ So I wrote this song called ‘I Know Places’ about, like, ‘Hey, I know places we can hide. We could outrun them.”
