The usual greeting when we are introduced to somebody knew:

Nice to meet you

 

Notice the two different pronunciations. In the first conversation they make an assimilation which transforms the sounds between MEET and YOU according to this assimilation rule:

T + Y = CH

so "meet you" sounds like "meechoo". But in the second conversation there is no assimilation, so they keep the T and Y sounds separate.
