Sometimes you just need to feel connected.

This short movie is a piece of art made by contemporary artist Jesper Just. The title is a reference to the famous poem "No Man Is an Island", by English writer John Donne, you can read/hear it here. The original poem is about all of us being connected.

This love song, called "Crying", was originally sung by Roy Orbison. You can watch his video here.

I was all right for a while
I could smile for a while
Then I saw you last night
You held my hand so tight
As you stopped to say, "Hello"

You wished me well
You couldn't tell
That I'd been crying over you
Crying over you

Then you said, "So long"
Left me standing all alone
Alone and crying, crying
Crying, crying

It's hard to understand
But the touch of your hand
Can start me crying

I thought that I was over you
But it's true, so so true
I love you even more
Than I did before

But, what, what can I do?
For you don't love me
I'll always be...
I will be crying over you
Crying over you

Yes, now you're gone
And from this moment on
I will be crying, crying
Crying, crying
Yeah, crying, crying
Crying over you

A WHILE= A moment.

YOU WISHED ME WELL= You told me: I hope everything will be fine with you.

YOU COULDN'T TELL= You didn't know; you couldn't notice.

CRYING OVER YOU= Crying (=weeping) because of you.

SO LONG= Good-bye.

ALL ALONE= Completely alone.

HARD= Difficult.

I WAS OVER YOU= If you have a love relationship with X and then you break up and don't have a relationship anymore, "I am over X" means that you forgot her, you are not hurting anymore and can move on.

FROM THIS MOMENT ON= From now until the end of time...
