The Mills are a Colombian rock band based in Bogotá. The band's musical style is greatly influenced by britpop. Their first album, Babel, reached #1 at Colombian radio stations Radioactiva and La X. They are managed by Roberto Andrade Dirak.

Influenced by alternative rock bands U2, Coldplay and Radiohead, the band was formed in 2007 and released an EP entitled Don't Care What They Think. It featured English lyrics and was produced by Luis Charry, guitarist for The Hall Effect. The band gained recognition as one of the new leading acts in Colombian rock, according to an article in the Colombian edition of Rolling Stone Magazine, which paid compliments to the band's British influences and sound quality.

I can't scare the fog
But I can see the right from the wrong
I can't feel my bones
But I can hear the steps at the door

Before, before I go to sleep
Before, before I go to sleep

Take my hand and hold me tight
Don't forget my name and my eyes
You were the only right thing to do
I think I'm flying high

I can see the light
Where time is running fast and slow
Forget and forgive (She said)
That life is much more than I thought

Before, before I go to sleep
Before, before I go to sleep

Take my hand and hold me tight
Don't forget my name and my eyes
You were the only right thing to do
I think I'm flying high

But I'm with you
I'm with you
I'm with you
I'm with you

Before, before I go to sleep
Before, before I go to sleep
Before, before I go to sleep
Before, before I go to sleep

Take my hand and hold me tight
Don't forget my name and my eyes
You were the only right thing to do
I think I'm flying high

I will never let you go
You’re still the love...
Of my life

SCARE= If you scare someone or something, you make them go by making them afraid of you (usually in the phrasal verb: scare somebody away).

I CAN SEE THE RIGHT FROM THE WRONG= I know the difference between good and bad things, between good and evil.

BONES= The hard parts inside our body that make up the skeleton (see picture)

THE STEPS= The noise of a person or animal walking.

HOLD ME= If you hold a person, you embrace them, hug them, put your arms around them. If you hold their hand, you take it and keep it in your hand.

TIGHT= Tightly, strongly. Here this word has the form of an adjective but it is functioning as an adverb. Using an adjective instead of an adverb is very common in English.

FLYING HIGH= Feeling full of joy and happiness.

We really have no clear context to understand this song. All we can say is that he is talking about a past love, but she is not with him anymore. She might be dead, that's why he is afraid of the night and he "can see the light where time is running fast and slow". In that case, it is possible, as we see here, that he loves her so much but can't be with her, and at the same time he says "I'm with you" and talks as if they were still together somehow and he feels elated (full of joy) remembering her.
