This pop song with country influences was written by Lady Gaga et al. in 2016. It came out of a conversation that Lindsey and Gaga were having one day, talking about the men in her life.

You're giving me a million reasons to let you go
You're giving me a million reasons to quit the show
You're giving me a million reasons
Give me a million reasons
Giving me a million reasons
About a million reasons

If I had a highway, I would run for the hills
If you could find a dry way, I'd forever be still
But you're giving me a million reasons
Give me a million reasons
Giving me a million reasons
About a million reasons

I bow down to pray
I try to make the worst seem better
Lord, show me the way
To cut through all his worn-out leather

I've got a hundred million reasons to walk away
But, baby, I just need one good one to stay

Head stuck in a cycle, I look off and I stare
It's like that I've stopped breathing, but completely aware
'Cause you're giving me a million reasons
Give me a million reasons
Giving me a million reasons
About a million reasons

And if you say something that you might even mean
It's hard to even fathom which parts I should believe
'Cause you're giving me a million reasons
Give me a million reasons
Giving me a million reasons
About a million reasons

I bow down to pray
I try to make the worst seem better
Lord, show me the way
To cut through all his worn out leather

I've got a hundred million reasons to walk away
But, baby, I just need one good one to stay

Oh, baby, I'm bleeding, bleeding, ey...
Can't you give me what I'm needing, needing?

Every heartbreak makes it hard to keep the faith
But, baby, I just need one good one
Good one, good one, good one, good one, good one

When I bow down to pray
I try to make the worst seem better
Lord, show me the way
To cut through all his worn out leather

I've got a hundred million reasons to walk away
But, baby, I just need one good one, good one
Tell me that you'll be the good one, good one
Baby, I just need one good one to stay

HIGHWAY (AmE)= Motorway (BrE), a big road with two or more lanes in every direction.

I WOULD RUN FOR THE HILLS= I would leave (the highway) and go into the hills, the wild countryside.

STILL= Quiet; stopped, without moving.

BOW DOWN= Make a reverence, lower your body in reverence, kneel down as a sign of respect.

PRAY= Talk to God.

LORD= A usual way of addressing the Christian God.

SHOW ME THE WAY= Give me instructions, advice.

TO CUT THROUGH ALL THIS WORN-OUT LEATHER= Leather is a very strong material made out of animal skin, and when it is worn out (very used) it gets even stronger, so it is very difficult to cut. This sentence is a metaphor, it means she wants to solve a problem which is very difficult to solve.

AWARE= Conscious, knowing what happens around you.

FATHOM= Imagine, know.

BLEEDING= When you bleed, your blood (the red liquid inside your body) comes out. To bleed is a metaphor of suffering.

HEARBREAK= A heartbreak is a moment when a love relationship was destroyed and your heart broke (you suffered a lot and usually with long term consequences).
