- aah, ooh, ouch! Ouch! OUCH! Charlie! Oooou!
- Charlie, that really hurt!

BIT= irregular past of the verb "to bite" (to use your teeth to cut something or hold it tight): bite-bit-bit.

OUCH!= the usual expression of pain.

HURT= to cause pain (physical or emotional). It’s an irregular past: hurt-hurt-hurt
