A film based on the story of Guy Fawkes but translated to the future. It starts like this:
In the near future, Britain is ruled by Norsefire, a totalitarian government. Evey Hammond, a young woman who works at a TV station, is rescued from an attempted rape by members of the secret police by a Guy Fawkes-masked vigilante known as "V". He leads her to a rooftop to watch his destruction of the Old Bailey. Norsefire publicly explains the incident as a planned demolition, but V exposes the lie by taking over a state-run television station the next day. He broadcasts a message urging the people of Britain to rise against the oppressive government on 5 November, (in exactly one year's time) by meeting him outside the Houses of Parliament. Evey then helps V to escape the TV station, but is accidentally knocked out in the process.
I wish I wasn't afraid all the time but... I am.
People should not be afraid of their governments. Governments should be afraid of their people.
Those caught in violation of curfew will be prosecuted without leniency or exception.
It's past curfew, you know.
Help me!!
Have mercy!
Oh, not tonight.
Who are you?
Gentlemen, I want this terrorist found, and I want him to understand what terror really means.
We're working on several leads.
Her parents were detained when she was twelve.
It was like those black bags erased them from the face of the earth.
Mummy!
You have one chance. You must tell us the whereabouts of code name V.
If our own government was responsible for the deaths of a hundred thousand people... would you really wanna know?
Please!
Those who are responsible will be held accountable.
The time has come for you to live without fear.
I'm ready.
This country stands on the edge of oblivion,
I want everyone to remember why they need us.
Kill him.
My turn.
I somehow have this feeling that everything was connected.
We're all part of it.
Are we ready for it?
The only verdict is vengeance.

2- My people wants more freedom. All the peoples in the world need peace.
